Social Services Panel: A Discussion on Alleviating Homelessness in Southern California

On Wednesday, March 4, 2020 the Dean’s Brand Ambassadors are hosting a panel of policy practioners from various social services agencies around Southern California. There will also be a meet-and-greet following the panel. Refreshments will be provided.

The event will be held at the University of California, Riverside in CHASS Interdisciplinary South 1113 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This panel includes:

  • Armando Gonzalez- Human Services Administrator for Los Angeles County

  • Natalie Komuro- Deputy County Executive Office for Riverside County

  • Tanya Torno- Principal Development Specialist for Riverside County

  • Sumit Sapra- Deputy Division Director for Orange County

“This is an excellent opportunity to not only understand what social services agencies around Southern California are doing about homelessness, but to understand what we can do to change the status quo,” said Madeleine Bunting, a second-year public policy student.
